I'm stuck at the beginning! I've got the gum, screwdriver, shoelaces, belt, broken pot, broken axe, metal plate, and 4 screws. I also have disabled the cooling thing in the generator.

What do I do next?

How do I get out of the ship I find myself in after I've used the powered necklace and been re-constructed?  I opened 3 panels and took the red wire.  The walkthrough says "Grab the wire, then exit the ship", but I can't figure out the key lock.

Exit to the ship is bottom left of the room.

I have got as far as putting power to necklace............the walkthro tells me to wait to hear a voice - have waited ages but nothing, it also says to get bullet from body - when I interrract it tells me he was shot but no bullet to be picked up.  Anyone tell me what I have done wrong?

I think you need to go back to the beginning area of the game(outside with the tents), and then put the necklace on when the voice tells you to.
