Apprentice Please Help!

Hi to all!

I'm seriously stuck in "Apprentice" and just don't know what to do.
I've searched the forum, but most commonly the link to the walkthrough is given, which doesn't work. 

I currently have the scroll, the sandwich book, the blanket, the plant id book, the bucket of milk and the coffee grinder (cleaned). I also put the stool under the saddle.

But I have no idea what's next. 

Any help is greatly appreciated!

true, I did a search and couldn't find any walkthrough for apprentice.  What you can do, is press search on top (between help and profile) and type in apprentice,  this way you will get some hints and tips from other players who have played this game.

Great game, but yes, you need help with it.

That's what I did, but the only hints I found were on things I already figured out myself.
Oh, I did get to know how the bonus puzzle can be solved... But that's not really what I was looking for.

Here's one thing you can do...

Try to take the Highwaywoman's sandwich and pay very close attention to what she says. Maybe you can't get her to let you have it. But maybe there's some way to get it without her knowing about it...

OK, just tried that (over and over again, actually =_=), but it doesn't seem to work... 
Whenever I try, the highwaywoman gives me that "Is it edible" line and I can't find anyway to use it directly on the sandwich.

Am I just stupid or missing out something

D'oh! Actually, there are few other things you have to do first. I knew I should have actually gone into the game to check myself. :

Knock on the wizard's door, and then hide behind the stairs. That way you can go upstairs and dive down the laundry chute.

(That cheese-puzzle freaked me out though! ^^;)
