JAPNCA-320x240 does NOT work

Ok, I got the problem figured out.  For some reason, 320x240 does not
work for me for this game. It will not let me run the game with that resolution.It is a problem with the graphics card drivers it says.
The game runs in the other resolutions until I get to Alistair's room with
the bad water. Is there anything I can do??

Try playing it in windows mode, I know it can be annoying but... try it.

I've been running it in Windows already. Should I try running it in DOS?
How do I do that?

No, I meant windowed mode, not in full screen, had you tried that?

Well,I thought your suggestion was really good,but it didn't work any better than the other things I tried. I think maybe I'm not meant to
play this game and I should try another one. :
