quest for cinema

i've noticed there are many threads on this game asking for hints on how to open the locked steel door without replies.
don't get your hopes up because i don't know either (!) but i was just wondering if nobody actually knew the answer (ie, no one has completed this game) and that's why?
alternatively: could someone please tell me how to open the door?!
