KING QUEST I - no condor

After I spoke with the elf, got the ring, I tried swimming east but could not get out of water so I swam back, got out and walked east until I got in front of cave.

I've been walking in front of cave, stood in front and/or behind rocks, walk again but never see the Condor.

What am I missing?

You're missing the mirror, the chest or both.

I saw a chest down the well but could not do anything about it. As for the mirror, where do you get it.

And if you swim how do you get out, there are only cliffs and I could not get out, I had to swim back and then walk on the side. Was that OK.

Do you have anymore of these 'jewels'. Are they any for KG 2, 3, 4, 5,6,7,? I sure would like to see those.
