King's Quest II, how to make green magic emerald

I want to make the green magic emerald, but can't find anything to mix it in?

The walkthrough talks about "take the bottle that fell to the floor"(in the shop) but I only find a vial of youth....

If you're trying to make the emerald then you need to put the stuff in the jar that's kept in the wizard's cave.  He's got everthing you need right there on the table.
