QFG 4 1/2 Frozen Elsa Question

I am stuck in Quest for Glory 4 1/2.  I put on the ice ring, the ice demon blew some breeze at me, then he took off, the ring broke, and frozen is standing there frozen.  the walkthrough says to touch her and she thaws, but when i touch her i just feel her up and she does not thaw.  can anyone help with this?  Thank you.

I got stuck there too. You have to use the 'fire' ring in your magic inventory thing.

No, you need the candle which you should have taken from the catacombs - after the son of the witch has left.

Really? When i used the fire spell thingy it worked, maybe it changes for what type of character you are (warrior, theif, mage).
