ok, I got the thinking part and allocated it to the body. But I get only "?"

Am I blind...
The scene has 2 hotpots, 1 button and a pipe.
The workbench 7 buttons on top, 4 on the left to build the thing; I used a head and the climber - a cute picture to the right, but no dials anywhere.

Beam down (through this mirror like thing) and go to the left. The room continues behind that narrow section of wall.

There is no transporter/mirror thing on this level anywhere.
Are you talking about a different level?

I changed back to the transporter type, nothing came up. Hope the attachment works.

LVL03 ... a pipe, a lever with button and a big gap to the right with a hand of the statue in the background.

Dude, you have to go back down to the first floor, enter the teleporter window where you got the first element, go further to the left and do a little puzzle thing and get another thing. Once you done that, go to the elevator, make sure you are standing on it and use the elevator. The elevator will not work if you are not standing on it.

Which swiches and buttons operate voltage and current?
Regardless which ones I'm pressing seems to influence both things and cannot find the order?

I think I'm near the end

I have become human, but the demon robot at the door keeps killing me. Nothing I click on seems to work. Based on Robo-Angel's clue, I should be able to douse ir in water. But the wheel near the door doesn't do anything, even when it appears to be standing under the pipe

note that when the robot is under the pipe, there's a little white dot on the wheel. that becomes a hotspot that you can briefly interact with...
