Title: MELRIN 1 - WHERE IS THE BAT
Post by: sunshinegold on Tue 10/08/2004 21:29:07
Can anyone tell me WHERE or HOW I can find the monster ???

I have 2 keys, note, and spell to freeze animal/monster.

I have read the threads but still cannot find the monster (unless it's that guy walking around near the trees).Ã,  If that's it, how do you use the 'freezing spell' ??? I tried touching him with it and it did not work. :-\

There is a bunch of trees but I should not walk in, there could be some snakes ???

Any help would be appreciated.Ã,  I would like to go on with the game. :)

sunshine,

Spoiler
The "monster" is the liittle bald-looking guy quarding the fenced-in statue and trees.   Just "use" the spell directly on him, he should freeze.... then click on the yellow tree in the middle of the group of trees.  Melrin should go right in and get the item that is there.  I never found anything significant with the statue that was inside of the fence area

Thank you Cittymom :)

I finally realized that the bald guy was the monster.Ã,  I wasted so much time running from him, not thinking he was the monster. :-[

Now I am close to the end.Ã,  I am only missing the 'bat'.Ã,  I still don't know what to do with the 'file'.Ã,  I have found the box/chest (wood) the yellow cloth, the shell.....but that stupid bat is hiding from me >:(

Can you help me.Ã,  Ã, Thanks

Spoiler
Have a closer look at the fence around the grave yard. Maybe after that you're able to use the file...

THIS IS A GREAT GAME. :)

I went back to the grave yard.Ã,  I went and touched every piece of wood of the fence, and I just get the message that 'I violated this fence enough', I touched every stone and the 'graves give me the creeps' with and without the file,Ã,  Ã, and I back to square one.Ã,  Still missing the bat.Ã,  >:(

I really need your help.  COULD YOU PLEASE BE MORE PRECISE :-[

sunshine,
You must already have the piece of wood in your inventory based on what messages you are getting about the fence.   Take Joacim's hint about the file and work with the items in your inventory.
