I've got the key and the piece of paper. the fairy's told me i need to talk to the guardian (north-west) but i can't find him! is he that beastly thing? if it is, how do i talk to him? it tells me he'll attack me!

ok i've found another key & used it to open the door at the north - pushed the button & found the tunnel leading down, but he says its too dark to go down there. i read the back of the paper and it says look south twice if you get lost - i don't understand that...
