I have come quite far in this great game, but now I am desperately  stuck

In Chapter 7, I am stuck in the police office where I have to free inspector Ludd.
I cannot access the keycard, guess I have to distract Captain Rollins, most likely
by turning on the TV, but the remote control (if any) is nowhere to be found....

There are two ways the captain finds his remote: Or you take it and give it to him, or he finds it when he stops you from going through his stuff.
So it depends where in the room he is when you find it.

Well, this numeric lock puzzle is tricky.
This is what I found so far

The note under the lock reads : C=2
The note from the bin reads : E=DOC
The note on the wall reads : O=C/2
Assuming that the letters represent numbers and that they are not multiplied,
and substituting O with C/2, the note from the bin would read E=D C/2 C
Since C=2, and using the alphabetic order for E and D, this would mean 5 4 2/2 2 = 5412
Unfortunately, it doesn't work

I've hit a wall here:

In the basement of the house, after the elevator and food storage room, there's a Securbot that won't let me pass. I have the items from the statue puzzle, but I couldn't open the emergency panel.

You don't have to :

You need to get what's in the crates whitout having the SecuBot arresting you.

How:

Spoiler

Open one crate and then move back before de Secubot arrests you after "Last warning".
Do the same with the two other crates.
Open one, go back, open one, go back, etc.
You don't need to get past the Bot.

Hey @Ian Aloser! I'm at the same place in the game, but I'm curious how you saw all of these clues (like the note under the lock, the bin, etc.) I can't see a bin in the room, and nothing is visible on the locker except the digital lock

I am not sure if you talk about the same room or the same chapter of the game.
The hint

O=C/2 is scribbled on the wall behind the dumpster and the bin
D=3 is written on the poster and
E=DOC is written on the note in the wall left to the lock
C=2 is written directly below the lock
