One bug though - I wasn't able to get to Inventory/Load/Save on the island at some stage, going somewhere else fixed that. It was on the pretty island next to the tree - not on the map. I tried to get something from the inventory - and then it happened.
I don't think that's a bug, the GUI is simply disabled in the map screen.
But I'm stuck there, too.

as for the chair. you dont need to make ithe chair dirty just something in the empty room. and i suggest you dont just make it dirty. as we say in australia, make it bloody dirty.
I finally have both life and death keys but...
1. Dont know how to solve block puzzle in treasury and;
2. Cant beat cupid despite having the "accuracy" secret.
Any help would be appreciated. By the way, this is a fantastic game mordalles!

I thought the clock was in a 24-division time system instead of the regular 12/60 in our world.

I have the wooden box where I put the life key and death key but am still missing two items needed for the middle two holes. Where can I find those items. How do I bring the rowing boat over to my side, I've tried every item I've got and tried combing things for the millionth time. I've made a paddle but the that blasted boat won't move/ Brill game... I'm totally addicted... even set the alarm clock early to try and finish it before work

there are three switches. there are three lights. one of the switches turns off the light in that very room. one switch is broken - it controls the switch outside the tower on the little jetti with the rowboat. the 3rd switch turns on a light somewhere else. . .

you get the access code off the demon in the cave after killing the rock monster, as for killing the monster, you need a bone, which can be found under the trapdoor in the theatre

I searched this whole hints and tips and it says to get pendant use something you found in the aquarium. I poured blood on the carpet in empty room, went downstairs and told man, he went upstairs to clean it. I am at the glass with the pendant in it. I am trying to cut the glass with the crystal.........It doesnt work because he keeps saying I cant do that with the keeper so close by.......... What am I doing wrong????

Listen to the mushrooms at the right of the gate that you unlocked at the beginning of the game. You should then be able to look closer! Then interact with the aliens.

There's a place in the aquarium where it was too dark to go the first time, that's the right place to find the box, so nothing to do with the big ball.

Get the binoculars from Pete's room in the estate, then go to the "Jetti" and use it to look at the clock on the lighthouse and note the time.
After entering the hole in the Aquarium, walk to the top, then enter the time into the panel next to the door (in 12-hour-format, it's 02:55). And enter the lighthouse.
Walk to the top and push the red button, the screen should read "open" now. Go to the lowest level and leave through the door. Walk to the left into the next area, there's a rock-like monster here and some crystals. Use the hand icon on the crystal and Mordy'll get a crystal shard.

It seems some people had a problem with the disappearing girl - I never did. The only trouble I had was the disappearing GUI - I think it had to do with combining telekinesis with things...

There are two doors, one locked and one unlocked. You won't ever need to go into the locked door.

I read that you use telekinesis on the pipe. Did you have to do this before you pick it up? Reason is it is now in my inventory and i am trying to combine telekinesis and the pipe and it doesn't work. I wasn't telling everything. You have to get the wire first - and you need something sharp to do this. Then combine the wire with the pipe... And THEN.. :)

you need to use "multi-shot" with the target. then, talk with cupid, and you will shoot 2 arrows at once from then on.
you first need to convert the multi-shot spell from the diskette onto your mind, the martians will help you with that.

You don't needÃ, making chair dirty, simply make rug dirty with red paid you found on somewhere else. The rug is inside room upstairs. Talk with owner and block door with chair.

before engaging into battle use bucket of water on stone on mountain, you will be able to win duel. You also need revive highlander same bucket of water afterwards.

to find the skeleton, you have to locate the woods. the woods is a new location which will appear on the world map after you have asked the guitarist what happened to their lead vocalist. then, go outside of the inn, to the world map, and look to the top left hand corner. you will see some wooden beams. hope that helps.

make the serpent woman in the tavern fall in love with Pete I need Cupid's bow, and to get Cupid's bow I need to beat Cupid, and to beat Cupid I eed the spell from the Martians so I can put the multi-shot spell into my mind, and to get the spell from the Martians I need to get the pendant, and to get the pendant I need to break into the case in the tavern, and to break into the case in the tavern I need the crystal, and to get the crystal I need to go into the hole in the aquarium, and to go into the hole in the aquarium I need some way of being able to breath underwater. Phew!
So how do I find some way of being able to breat under water? My inventory is: telekinesis spell; torn poster; poster of Mordy on Holiday characters; binoculars; diskette; diary; shovel; bucket; can of blood.

when you read the book in the inn hallway, it will explain a bit of the local wildlife. a certain creature is mentioned. this creature you can find on the island of life. to get it off the tree you will need something fork-like, since it sucks onto the tree. the creature will help you breathe underwater. ;D

I've got the bone but how do I get the fluid? Pete is crying but using the box on him doesn't work. Do I need to put the tears in a container first? The containers I have in my inventory (can of blood, bucket) don't work.

Now I'm speculating I have to give her the Hiyon flower from the centre of the lake. To get that, I think I have to paddle out in the boat outside the clock tower. I read here that you need to convert a guitar into a paddle, and that you get the paddle by "helping the band". What band is this referring to?

have you tried just walking to the right edge of the screen. once the door is openend, you are not suppose to "interact" with it anymore. you just walk right as far as possible. please let me know if you are still having problems.

Count the number of colours in each of the eight windows and note down the numbers.
This is the order that the numbered blocks have to be inserted, starting with the top left hole, then working left to right, and then left to right in the bottom row.
The website says that one of the endings has two sub-endings. I've only found these so far:

Which of these has two sub-endings, and at what point do the sub-endings diverge?
thanks paolo i have another problem no ones mentioned, i got the chips of bone when i killed the monster in the cave, he has gone now but i havnt got the bone anymore i am trying to put it into the wooden box if anyone can help or have i got to restart it i have life, death key and tears many thanks

You need a different bone for the box. Go past where the rock monster was to the cave. You can find out how to get the bone for the box there.
Tina, just to be clear:

You would have put the long bone in the rock monster's mouth to kill it. If you go past where the rock monster was and into the cave, there is someone there who can tell about the chip of bone you need for the box.

ending number "2" has 2 sub-endings. you have to rescue a certain someone from a certain dungeon, and this ending will then be slightly different.

hello eli! im sorry, but the snake girl disappearing is a bug that i havent been able to correct since the game's release. it seems some people saw the snake girl only once. and then she disappears (mysteriously). i havent been able to locate the problem, neither have i been able to recreate the bug, so i havent been able to fix it. the snake girl has never disappeared with me personally, so im sorry for the inconveniance. :-\
if you restart it should work, since it only happens VERY rarely. so rarely, that it never happened with me, and i must have played the game through 100 times while betatesting without it happening.

hehe, okay.
here is a tip: once you get into the bar and see the snake girl for the 1st time, go outside, and enter again, and if she is still there, it means you saw her twice, and that means she wont disappear. ;D well, i hope.

you can't open the trapdoor yourself. you'll have to get the role as guybrush for it to open. i can't remember other trapdoors, so i'm guessing you are referring to the one on stage?
