Spoiler

-youll find a recipe on how to make shotgun shells in the encyclopaedia in the potion shop. just use the list (that the chief gave you) or the shotgun with the books.
-to get the seeds, you need the melon. try eating the melon (by using it with mordy)

Spoiler

-seeds you get in the melon by eating it.
-you get the grass at the tomb on the far side of the map. that location will only be availabe if you've looked through the telescope, and you have lit the torch in the pasageway.
- you will also see the flower there.
-although, u need to learn something before you can get the flower down.  ;)
- how to get into tomb: try eating some mushrooms.
- search for any openings that might be hidden at the entrance of the tomb.

Hm, I've been stuck in this game for ages.  Could someone give me a hint, please?

Here's where I'm up to:
Spoiler

I can't poison the shotgun shells with the green mushroom yet.  What do I need to do first?

I can't get into the tomb (the brown one, not the one in the graveyard.  If I eat the red mushroom, I turn into a little dog but then turn back into Mordy.  Something else I need to do, or am I turning into a dog in the wrong place?  :-\

Current contents of inventory:

Map from elder
To-do list
Mystic's business card
Key from GT Marley's tomb
Licence to trade in potions
Recipe to make shotgun shells
Green mushroom
Red mushroom
Grass
Telekinesis spell
Loaded shotgun
Wooden leg
Bone from GT Marley's skeleton
Empty glass
Shotgun shells

thanks for any clues  :)

"Mordy: On holiday" Walkthru, incomplete.

Note that some things need to be "unlocked" before they work. For example you must talk about some item
before you can give it to a person, or you have to read or try something before you can use it.

--------------
---EDIT---
Removed. I completed the game and the walkthru and sent it to a walkthru list site.
Now I cross fingers that it is accepted there.

I thought this was just a hints and tips section :-\ -

I know this isn't the first time and sorry guys - you may disagree but I think its a real shame that walk thros are posted in here!

Oops, it did happen! Someone hates me posting it here.
If more people think it's wrong, I will edit it out.

I thought this:

1. It is announced that it is a walkthru. And it is hidden. So nobody will stumble by accident into it.

2. If you are stuck, you have no choice but to read all spoilers in this thread, which will tell you tips for things your are not ready for yet. So in my humble opinion this (the walkthru)  is actually LESS spoiling than giving out little pieces.

I guess walkthrus are simply hated by some people. Well, nobody is forced to use it. And for some people it is MORE fun with a walkthru!
Why not let us more moronic players have our way of fun? Not everybody loves getting stuck so badly that he/she has to stop his beloved adventure.

EDIT:
Okay Let me try to give some hints to Paolo.

Is it only me, or is it actually not a dog, but a rabbit?
Spoiler

OK, you got across the passage.

Now your job is to get the ... from the prisoner.

Be sure to check all items related to potions in your inventory or in game rooms. There is an important hint about potions.

Check the tomb thoroughly. You will interact with something, let's say two times.

OK, now you have a new entrance and a new item, both from the tomb.
What do you know about this new item?
And now you need to get beer. Notice that the bartender does something special?

Yes, it is a rabbit after all.  (Straight on, it looked like a dog wearing a collar.  :)) And what do rabbits do with something on the screen with the tomb?  I've got much further into the game now.  Thanks, PeteReggae!
