Looking for help here> I let the girl out of the cage, but not sure what to do yet. I have bottle of water with ash, but not sure what to do with it.

The bottle isn't really needed but... you can read all about it in the library. That's where you need the ashes and the water. It has to do with the paper the librarian gave you.

Use the ashes with the water, use the bottle on yourself to shake it and pour it in the candy bowl. The hardened material should be used on the paper so you can read how to use the computer and what books to look for.

Leon has it right. I put the bottle, ash and the resulting info in his spoiler code as extra stuff to do in the game. Its not required, but will give more info on the story. It also changes up some wording in the endgame.

Also.. You can get an alternate ending sequence by:

Thanks guys. I read the books and now am at the cave. I let out the girl but how do I stop that evil guy at the pentagon?

Well, the book on demonology mentioned something about how to control demons.. Its how the robed man is controlling him.

The book also mentioned that there was one thing in particular which will allow you to control a demon.. One thing which happens to be more powerful than the thing mentioned above.

You need to begin by stopping the spell which is underway, then be careful and think quickly..

Use the iron rebar on the nearest stone to break the spell.

When the robed man sends the Jersey Devil after you, use the metal rebar on it as it advances. Remember the one book said a Demon Stone could be used to control a lesser demon, but iron can be used to control any demon.. Iron beats neclaces.. Kinda like rock->paper->scissors

I am stuck with the password for the computer. I have the piece of paper but I am not able to read it. I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything to help me so I seem to be going around in circles. I would appreciate any help!

Hehe, yes. The paper puzzle (which solves the computer puzzle) are not required to beat the game. They are just extra puzzles which will provide more insight into the story, as well as giving info as to WHY the things you do at the end of the game work. IE: Doing something because there is a reason versus doing something just to save your butt when danger is around.
