Mystery of Haunted Hollow Help

I need some help.  I've picked up everything you can throughout the house (string, magnet, sponge, cup, sticky tape, etc.)  But I can't get out through the back door 'cause it's locked (from the outside, oddly enough).  And my "mum" won't let me wander off in the middle of the night (imagine that).  So where do I go from here?  Please Help!
