Need help McReed Case Endgame

Hi:  I'm having trouble in the end scene in the McReed Case.  I have talked to the creature, shot at it, and
hit the bricks with the wrench which hits the creature but doesn't knock it out.  It keeps jumping out and killing me.  How do I end this nightmare!!

I've heard no-one call it a nightmare before...

Anyway:

When you throw the wrench at the bricks ones, the creature ain't knocked-out enough yet. Have a look at the box if you're missing a way to try knocking it again. I also suggest you turn the game speed a bit slower for that scene so you got enough time to react.
