I broke the window, but now a board is in the way. how do i get rid of the board?

broke window also..... then go to inventory and look at map, it will take you to another place.  I went to place with boat and got fishing rod from it.  Then back to broken window,  tried to use fishing rod to get board away, but had to right click on fishing pole to get pole gone and just have string with hook on it.  Now I have to find whatever else I need before I can go into factory.  And I forgot what the guy said I needed.  I have wrench, pipes....ok got clay down by water, by boat so now I have everything....Going back to window and I am sure I will get in. Used fishing string with hook on it and got in.  Game ends here......

played it last night and realised i can look at the map, and saw another location. so that got me through the game. rosie, thanks, just saw your reply now.
