Perhaps you have to do one more thing before you can copy the images in the church:

Use the telescope and point it to the park where you overheard the discussion between Giuseppe and the monk. To the left of the scenery are two parks, one is the TÃªte d'Or. Look at it through the telescope, then use "exit" and use the camera on the telescope to take a picture. Perhaps this must be done before. If you pick the wrong park (both are close together and to the right of the big antenna, with a bit of green again), Leo will tell you that he doesn't need to look there.

I also used the "look" icon on all pictures in the book and I also read through the book which is in the drawer of the dead monks cell.
I played again the part from the abbey (when it is accessible) until I got the drawings of the images from the column. I don't know if you missed something else.

Yes, you have to try a little bit here, because you have three pictures and can work only on two of them at a time.

Back to the hotel room and start the computer. Open the graphic program and ac-
quire the photo (select the camera as source). Make a picture of the paper with
the copies of the reliefs and acquire them both. When you used "acquire" to see
both images of the column, the first one will disappear, but you can work on the
photo of the park later on. When you have the pictures of the columns match them
("match" button) and examine them. The red parts are particularly interesting.
They fit almost perfectly. You may zoom in on the red parts. Now use "acquire"
again and you will see the picture of the park and the matched reliefs. Use
"Match" and then the magnifying glass on the lower part. You have found an
entrance to the catacombs that have been mentioned in the book. It is the foun-
tain in the park, where you where spying on Giuseppe and the monk. Go there and
examine the fountain (use hand and look icon on the fountain). Something is
missing. It is a button that you have already seen in the dead monks cell.

As soon as you enter, the torch will extinguish. Remember the red book that you
found at the book stall? Light the torch with the lighter and go left, light the
torch again... You have to light the torches and follow a certain route to get
into the abbey again. Follow the route as shown below and light each torch.
When you arrive at the spot numbered with 7, the lights will extinguish, so
light them up again and follow the route from 7 to 22.

From 22, you can enter the crypt. Read the book on the stand and click on each
of the three monks. Now click on the relief in the background. It is a puzzle
where you can move parts with numbers on empty parts. Reconstruct the following
date: 09-11-1999 as found in the books.

To solve this puzzle, assign a letter to each box:

Click on the opened mouth and get two pieces of cloth. You will be transported
to the hotel room immediately. Combine the two pieces of cloth in the inventory
and look at them. Use the cell phone, but the battery is empty (use the cell
phone on Leo). Go downstairs, look at the advertising of the travel agency and
find the phone nunmer (011235544), use the telephone in the lobby and dial the
number of tourviaggi. Then go outside and talk to the taxi driver. Go to the
airport. This concludes part 2 of the devils shroud.

You are the kindest person to want to help me through this difficult game. I like it though because it challanges. I am having difficulty getting through the maze because I cannot tell whether I am to go R(right) L(left) or f(forward). As a result I am wondering round and round. I tried to follow your diagram, but still confused. Can you be a little more clearer?

The drawing is a top down view, so for the first few steps (marked with 1, 2, 3 etc):
Light the torches in every room you enter (see also the book with the hint about
light and the labyrinth in your inventory).

From the first room go to the left, you will be in 2, go left again, you will be in
room 3, go up (background) three times, you will arrive at 6, go right once, you
are now at 7. Count carefully.

All torches will be extinguished by now. Light each one on your way back and up
to the crypt. Now go right once, then down (foreground) three times, right once,
up twice, right once, down twice, right once, up (background) three times and then left. That's it.

S, I got throught he maze with the help of your instructions.
But of course am stuck again. I am in the crypt and have looked at the pics of the three monks, put in the numbers 09111999 as the numbers needed on the bottom line corresponding to the currant date but I'm afraid I do not understand your chart with the letters???

No problem.

Because there is more than one free slot, you have to indicate which number you want to move. Then you move it to an empty spot. Look at the first few letters:

"EAFEKD" at the beginnin of the first row means that you should klick on the leftmost tile first ("E"), than move it up ("A"), next klick on the second tile from left ("F") and move it to the left once. Then klick on the tile at position K and move it up ("D") etc. The puzzle is not too difficult, but a bit lengthy. Instead of following the instructions you can also try to move the tiles from one side to the other by moving them into one of the positions A,B,C,D and pushing away to give way, and repeating it (for example: to move a tile from the rightmost to the leftmost position, try to put it in D, then C, then B and E a t last).

Probably, there exist solutions which require less steps.

I used letters for the positions, because the numbers 1 and 9 appear several times. The letters name fixed positions only, as given in my hints:

A B C D
E F G H I J K L

Each position will hold several tiles when you solve the puzzle. Because there are several "1" and "9", I didn't use the numbers. Try klicking at the locations using a single mouse click and see how the tiles move.

Going back to EAFEKD: Klick on the lower, leftmost position ("E"), then klick on the upper leftmost position to move one of the tiles. Then click on the second from left in the lower row ("F"), then lower leftmost position ("E"), shich is empty, to move the next tile. Click on the lower second from the rightmost ("K"), then upper rightmost
("D") to move a tile there up.
