I have to make Rufus the cat enter the kitchen but I cannot make the door stay open. The walkthrough says something about a "doorstep", but I haven't found anything similar.

I cannot enter the dojo and nothing seems to move towards the kitchen door.
Can anyone be more specific?

I can't get the cat through the door at all. Everytime I try to do so, it bolts in the opposite direction back to the Laundry Room. What should I do?

Make sure the vaccuum is not downstairs. :)
