I can't seem to be able to challenge Issur to an arm-wrestling match, due to some reason, are there any particular actions I should carry out... (Most of the other stuff I got)

Use the mouth icon on yourself. You should be able to challenge him from there.

Thanks a lot! Anyway managed that now the only problem is beating Issur, I can't beat him with a strength of 132! LOL maybe I need greater strength.

You can challenge him on any day, but before you can challenge him, he'll have to tell you that he likes to arm wrestle and that you're welcome to try and take him on.

I know that this is really silly problem, but I am not able to change my gold coins on anything else at the moneychanger! How do I have to do it?

First of all, great game, I love Quest for Glory.  And this remake is wonderful.
I finished the game as fighter, and I wanted to become a Paladin....

I got 176 Honor points, but that was not enough.
How many Honor points do I need to become a paladin?

Your money change problem. Click with the talk icon on yourself and choose exchange money when you are near Dinarzad (the moneychanger). That should work.

i went in as a wizard,when i take my test at wit i can't get past wall,i target the wall then use the calm spell,and can't get over the wall.helppppp,pleaseee.thanks for the help.than you erpy.next problem is the iceburg,i used the flame bolt and split it in half then i used the thunder bolt on the split twice,then i was thrown out.why? helppp

I think you need to use the mouth icon on yourself and tell him about the elemental. I can't remember.

You have enough honor points to become a paladin, but you must refrain from doing anything that would disqualify you. (finish off helpless opponents, steal stuff, peep on ladies)

As for the fire elemental, talk to Harik about it. (it's in his daily news section) Or ask him about it straight out through the parser.

To get over the calmed earth wall, just click the hand on it.

By the way I should mention that I found it easier to use a combination of the text parser type conversations with the clickable type because there are some topics which must be brought up but cannot be and hence one can simply enter it into the text parser area (pssst... this is similar for incense, then you can buy it from him)... I don't know whether this is a mistake and it might be because one also does not get options to ask Aziza about elementals or julanar (the tree woman... you know...)

Yeah, parser can be used as a shortcut to bring up topics that have to be found in the dialogue tree otherwise, but the relevant topics are in there nevertheless.

Incense appears in a subbranch of the fire elemental topic.

The elementals are a branch of the daily news topic, but only after they actually show up. Likewise, Julanar appears in Aziza's daily news topic, as well as her desert topic, after you've been told about the fruit of compassion or after you've seen the tree in the desert yourself.

I'm playing this game on a laptop (which is probably murder to my keyboard) so I had to change the keys for the fighting. But when I try to fight against the warrior girl, I can't attack her. I put the attacking moves to 7 and 9 but when I press these keys, nothing happens. Is that normal, am I not supposed to attack her, or is this some kind of bug that other keys won't work?

Is it possible you're in the combat tutorial? (it gets offered the first time you challenge her and you might have clicked the top choice instinctively) In the battle tutorial, only the moves you're supposed to do at that point actually do something. Other than that, I have no clue. If a button works for one fight, it should work for all of them.

Drag your money bag to the Moneychanger.

Ok, I'm in Aziza's.  But when I type in 'yes' or 'tea' when she asks me for tea, it doesn't work and she gets mad and throws me out.  Any hints?

There are two different menu's for interacting with other characters. The first one is the "ask about"-menu, which lets your hero ask the character for information about subjects and is accessed by clicking the mouth on the character. The other one is the "tell about"-menu, which lets your hero give answers and tell NPC's about certain subjects. This one is accessed by clicking the mouth cursor on the hero. You need the second one in order to tell Aziza that you'd like to drink tea with her.

Don't know if you got past this but for the wall, make sure you've cast trigger on it BEFORE you cast calm.  Otherwise, it won't do anything.

As for the iceburg, it sounds like you may have run out of magic.  Of course, I am assuming that you are kicked out of WIT.

got the fruit of compasion and the feather but doesnt seem i can give it to Harik so he can make a dispel potion for the beast


Im a fighter with 0 in magic.

Cant i not buy a potion because of this or do i miss some conversations?
