I've searched through the other Q&A and this problem isn't addressed (even in the walkthroughs!)

I'm in the dojo, I need to use the bath robe to look like a student, but use the bathrobe on what? I can't use it on Jackson (no hotspot) and just plain 'using' it seems to do nothing. What am I doing wrong?

This is the last thing I need to do! Help!

If I remember correctly, (it has been a long time since I played the game) you go into the Dojo (karate class) get the professor distracted???, put a chair to hold the door and you get doorstop
