Need help in Stan Ames PI

Hello everyone,
Ive started playing Stan Ames two days ago, great game so far, but am kinda stuck.

Im in the Wilkinsons house, found the boy, the teenage girl in the kitchen, the man on the chair next to the living-room and the gardnener; got the pistol and a screwdriver in my inventory.
I cant get into the room in the basement (door is locked) , same with the wardrobe in the living-room.

I hope anyone can help!
