I downloaded this game, and it took a really long time to download, then when it was finally done, I clicked on it and it froze my whole machine up.  had to reboot.  did it happen to anyone else?????

Rosie, It did not happen to me, I am not very technical but you have to have WinRar to unzip it. Maybe thats whats happening but who knows. Do you have WinRar? If not you can get it off the internet. I had to get it to unzip The Devils Shroud. Did you play that one, if you did then you have WinRar. Its just another extracting program like Winzip. Maybe some of the more technical guys on here will know more, but haven't seen anybody else have the problem of it freezing up.

Still stuck over here.  I'm about ready to delete this game.

I am with potch...i've done everything mentioned so far but i can't get any keys or find oil...help us please!!

I have winrar and it did unzip.  Then it froze

I'm at a loss...can't find a rubber stopper.
I have: a bow, the glass, the cord, the empty marmalade jar, dead battery, toaster with the wire plugged in to it, acid and seasoning mix, vial of acid, book w/ recipe, pencil with no lead, lead tip, pillow, toothbrush, hook, sharpened knife.
Seem to be at a standstill.
Can't get the cheese.  Can't use the bow.  Can't get any keys. Can't find the screwdriver!!!

OK, got that.  But when they say to use the rope with the trapped rat, on the mousehole, what does that mean?  The rat is trapped in the jar, and I'm not sure what to do next?

Looks like I am stuck at same place as everybody else, i've done everything suggested in these hints but can't get keys and looking for oil for grinder. Does anybody remember where they picked up the strange shaped piece of plastic because I don't remember picking it up. Has anybody turned off the lights in the first room and room colour turns purple and seen a loose wire but can't do anything with it because it says not in this light? I think we definitely need to get those darn keys

took the lead and placed it on the doors to the room where i got the cheese and it grates it,but dont know what to do with it now??

did anybody notice when you turn on the ultra violet light in the first room there is a piece of paper on the wall with the numbers 6684 which you can't see in the normal lighting.

Did you get remote, I have that now with one charged battery in it. So now I know what to do with the other battery because the remote says its only half charged. Let me know if you got remote and if not I can tell you how to get it

The lead are grinded when you use it on the door (thanks -mags_don )
Did use the grinded lead with the seasoning mix and acid and have now a Bom
i don't have the remote

use the explosive on the box in the room where you got cheese, then put the cord (fibre thingie) on it then click your pickup icon and robot will blow up the box - remote is inside. Put 2 batteries into it.
