I just started playing this game and cant get any further than looking at the other students inventory and everytime i try to talk to them the teacher tells us to shut up what do i do next? Do i have to put the sleeping pills in the teachers coffee?
You can't
talk to the other students, but you can pass inventory items between them, and you can switch which one you're playing. Have you read the readme.html file that came with the game? I know normally those readme files are just the typical "How to play an adventure game" instructions you're no doubt already familiar with, but the gameplay in Saturday School is unique enough that it really
does pay to read the file.

Eventually, yes, but you'll have to distract her first...not to mention waking up the kid who's got the pills! The sleeping pills don't come in till near the end of the game.

If you try switching from the boy with the messy black hair to the blond girl next to him, you'll find out she has a crush on him. Then if you try switching back, she'll say something about wanting to write a note to him. Pass her the paper and pencil...

after i use the ruler to wake the boy up that is sleeping, and take the sleeping pills, i gave the sleeping pills to the boy in the front by the teacher,i tryed to use the sleeping pills in her coffee cup but she stops him, what do i do to distract her?
wasn't ther a donut involved with this game? Maybe you put the pill in the donut/

Hit him with the ruler (the one hanging on in the right-hand part of the back wall of the classroom).
If you don't have the ruler yet, and the guy in front of it (Roger) is too busy listening to music for you to be able to get him to take it, then you can't wake the sleeping kid up yet...you'll have to figure out how to get Roger to take off his headphones first.

If you've done all that, you're almost finished. There's just one thing you have left to do, and it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out. Give it some more thought, and if you still can't figure it out, read below:

I'd hate to ask about this, but is there a more straight-forward walkthrough for this particular game?
I can't seem to get past the blond-girl-with-a-crush situation, and I'd rather not ask every now and then for hints on this one. Dial-up's not exactly good in this part of the Earth :P

I don't think there is an actual walkthrough but I had some notes written down for this game that might help

Pass brownie around students to teacher.
Pass notepaper to kid
Pass pencil to kid - write a note, pass it to girl Maria behind
Pass note to Roger (one with headphones)
Roger - pick up ruler - pass it to kid beside the one with sleeping pills
Use ruler on kid - pass sleeping pills around to kid in front of teacher
pass cd to girl in front
pass book to boy in right hand corner then take his book and pass it to teacher
while shes reading use pills on coffee
trick teacher by advancing clock with ruler
pass ruler back and use on teacher
Not sure how complete this is but it might help you out
Finally finished it!
Just needed to see how I could actually get something to distract the teacher. I knew it was the sleeping pills, but...oh, nevermind. "Detention" had never been a school concept where I am, so... ;D
