Oracle Basic Help

I've gotten a wee bit frustrated because I'm playing Oracle, and I can't seem to figure out how to pick things up (the dog toy at the very beginning specifically).  Is there another dog toy that I'm supposed to find or is there some special button that I'm missing?  Thanks for the help!

Perhaps you should try a little bit later. Did you read the comment? There should be one when you try to pick up the toy. Come back later when you have a need for the toy.
