Title: Storyboard Adventure
Post by: on Mon 21/07/2008 03:57:06
Hi I am a newbie to AGS, however I have an awesome story to turn into an adventure game.  However my story is such that a conventional approach won't do it justice, I want the user to connect with environments as well as characters within my story.  I would like the style of the game to be much the same as the original Shadowgate on the NES back in the early nineties, not sure if anyone here remembers that game?  I want it to be a personal experience of discovery for the eventual users of my game and I really like the storyboard approach taken in Shadowgate, does anyone here have any ideas on how to implement this style using AGS?  If so please get in touch, I would appreciate any input.

Regards

First of all, hello and welcome to the forums.  :)

Secondly, you might want to register an account so you can post in the appropiate forum areas. Once you do, you can post your idea here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=30347.0) (if you just want help so you can do it yourself), here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=33176.0) (if you just want to share it) or here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?board=4.0) (if you just want feedback). Good luck!
