  will someone explain how to open the lock in the basement please? i burnt the letter so now have no clue how to get it open? please help

Did you do a search for other postings? Go to top and hit search, put the name of the game in, uncheck everything except Completed Games and Hints & Tips. I am nearly sure there is other postings. I know I played this one but sorry can't remember what to do.

So you found the lock? Examine it, there is another way to open it if you accidentally lost the combination.
