I have been enjoying playing technobabylon but I need help and a walkthrough woudl be great..so I did a search & the search keeps coming back with technobabylon II, is there a w/t for just the technobabylon?
I cannot get out of the room, I have the plyers, soapy thingy, cable, have shredded the tray, broke the fork ... how can I short the panel & open the silly door?

I'm kind of stuck with this. I'd like a walkthrough or something. I've done everything I could, got every item there probably is, but I have no idea how to "virus" the food machine. I know I need to create a metal tray so I placed the ingredients all right (3 in number), I got the memory card, I've done everything really. Lots of people have finished this so I'd like some hints or complete give away.

check the locker (below the bed), check the bathroom as well, when you have the shampoo use it on the locker that won't open, and then use the fork

I got the items in the locker but when I try to use the fork on it, nothing. I removed the grid with the cable and put the grill and the trophy into the recycling machine. it says I need more metal but I can't think of what???

Okay now since you got the cutters/pliers whatever that thing on the locker is called, use it to cut the shower cable. Then use the webnode (that blueish thingie that looks like a heart) on the food machine and on the door panel. Then use the memory card on the one in your bed. once you're into the virtual world, look at the mail to obtain the virus and then use the virus (inventory) to the memory card. Talk to the guard on the left so that it will attack chefie (on the right) then place the memory on the food machine, and use the shower and grate and the tray and fork inside the recycling slot of the food machine and then use the food machine. I recall a third thing (something metallic as well) so check your inventory.

Yeah, the save thing was having a bit of trouble, but it should work in the version I've currently put up.

The three metal things are:
- the shower hose. Use the cutters from the cupboard under the bed to get it.
- the trophy. Get that from the cupboard.
- the grille. Cut the cable from the post in the middle of the room, and use the cable to get the grille.

After that,

You need to get rid of Cheffie so that you can make a metal fork. Get the wetware nodes from the toilet, and put one on the food machine, and one on the terminal by the door. Get the memory card from the food machine in the real world, then use it with the terminal by the bed. Check your emails in the virtual world to receive the virus, and put it on the memory card. In the real world, put the memory card into the food machine, then go back into the virtual world. Ask Cheffie about new recipes, which will activate the virus. Because Cheffie is now infected, you can ask the knight to get rid of Cheffie. Once that's gone, the food machine will make your metal tray and fork - put all of the metal into it, and use it to make the crockery. You can then use the metal fork on the terminal by the door.
