Thank you SO much.  Wow, that game was kind of a pain wasn't it?

Potch, are you an American?
From the kind of thinking you have shown, I cannot suppose otherwise.
In cases like this one, I feel that I could understand my friends when they say - "Those stupid Americans..."

Wow.Ã,  That was just plain rude and mean.Ã,  I have been nothing but nice to every single person on this board, regardless of where they were from.Ã,  No one has ever said anything like that to me before on here.Ã,  Maybe I'm not the smartest person when it comes to adventure games, but I love them anyway.Ã,  Yes, I had a hard time with this game, as did others.Ã,  I am really hurt by what you said.Ã,  I didn't deserve that at all.

The only reason I said the game was a pain was because there was a lot of pixel hunting.  Most people that play adventure games can agree that pixel hunting is annoying.

KUZMAN

I apologize to you from my heart.
I would really appreciate it if you should accept my excuses.
I am really sorry, Potch.

CP,
Spoiler
I had the same problem, and it was the fact I missed out on the first bit to hide, the father saw me - it doesn't have an effect straight away, but later the cursor freezes.
Make sure you hide behind the stairs, next to the door on the first screen. If you do it right he is actually ducking below the the little wall. Then follow through the next screen - and then the house bit will work. Good look. To restart him chasing take the train up and walk all the way down... you don't have to hide until the steps bit.

I give up! I've been trying to follow the father for days, but it seems I need some exercise!!Ã,  :-[ (or watch some films...whatever )Ã,  Can somebody PM me what happens in the end of Part II, as I'm not going to run up and down Lyon only to have Guiseppi disappearing on me?
Why can'tÃ,  I just pin a bug on him or something???Ã,

Ketmaier takes the plane back home as far as cp is concerned...

wow, that WAS rough!! and to generalize all Americans like that..no wonder there is so much adversity amongst all nations and hatred in this world with people like you..fueling the fire..i have a rule i wish to share with you since i do live in a free country where i can speak my mind and am an educated American.always think before you speak..in this case...type. But I will give you this, you did apologize, very kind and humbling as long as you meant it.

Potch,

It is true you have always been nice and helpful on this forum. I don't know where KUZMAN is from, and I really don't care, but he was plainly rude and ignorant.

As a guest he may not know it, but this forum is to help the struggling players, which is most of us, (otherwise we would not need the hints forum) and not to criticize the players.

Myself have appreciated your help in the past and I hope you will keep on playing and help us in the future.  You  have proven to be a team player not a selfish, ignorant one.

An anonymous poster wrote one thoughtless insult that deserves to be ignored, and he also apologised. Try to move on now, people.

Try to move on now, people.

Well, I try , butÃ,  fatherÃ,  Giuseppi must have been an Olympics champion!!Ã,  :PÃ,

I tried all the hints in this forum, but I can't follow him beyond the third screen , after he goes up the stairs to the basilica...Any more ideas?

Potch

CP... I think you just have to be really fast.  There's a little alcove that you have to duck into I think on that screen.  Try that.

Have you read the journal in the monk's cell?  I think that you have to read the journal, and then ask the hotel guy where to find books.

Is this the wrong place to stand? From this moment on, the father either disappears or sees me, if I stand a little closer to the stairs.

jane

cp.........
Spoiler
its the right place to stand. I found the only way was to start following him as soon as he hears the top of the stairs, it was just trial and error but after about 5 goes I made it, don't forget to save game when at bottom of stairs to make life easier.Ã,  On the next set of stairs I just dived in the crack as soon as possible.Ã,  Try clicking on crack rather than walking up stairs and then into crack - it worked for me[\hide]

would still like some help with the labyrinth pleassssssse

Hi!

I'm stuck trying to get the book fom the bookstand. I've used the tape with the bird call - but still can't get the book.
Also, I tried to reverse the bird call with the computer; but still can't get the book.

Can someone help me, please? :)
