I think this game is looking great, and so far its really fun to play..but im stuck and dont know what to do next...i hope someone has played this who can help me out on this one..,

my inventory items are :
-dirty hankerchief
-wallet
-cigar case
-week old sporting times newspaper
-letter from fiance
-envolope
-syrup of figs
-whiskey
-deeds to house
-punchard
-mouse

So...whats next,
any hints?!!
