I'm sorry, but it's hard to give a hint about it without telling where it is. All I can say is it's in the Arcade, and all you gotta do is find it... With the interact/pick up commands.

Edit:  Huh.  Never mind.   I must have found a bug or something, because I had checked those each about ten times and NOTHING.  I restarted and played the whole thing again, and then found them.  Interesting.

No, it's NOT a bug. You can only find the change there during the part of the adventure when you need the gum, but not before.  If you search them "before" you need the gum to solve a puzzle, then it won't be there.

I searched there when the nerds needed the ruler fixed AND when the punks needed the clown taken care of, and nothing.  It just kept saying that it already tried that.  It wasn't until I started over that I was able to do it.

How did you search, by "look", "pick up" or "Interact"? You would need to use "Interact" command for that particular puzzle with the 3 coin-return-trays.

If you did use "interact", well ,I'm not able to replicate the problem you mention, so if this is the case, I would suspect that before you actually did find the dime, but perhaps didn't see it in your inventory? As the inventory area only shows 3 items at a time in the viewing area, and newly aquired items go to the "bottom" you may have to click the "down arrow" a few times to insure that you've scrolled to the bottom of the inventory list.Ã, 

Regardless, you say it's working for you now, I can't replicate the problem, and no one else has mentioned the same problem, so I'm not sure it's a bug, but thanks for mentioning anyways.Ã, 

If you still think for sure it's a "bug" and if you still have that save-game file, you could email it to me and I could take a look and see for myself. Thanks.
