not be able to open the panel near the lab to get computers connected to talk with each other

Leon

To get the moisture:

Spoiler
In the room where you started (downstairs, called Brig) is a moist area on the wall on the right. 'Capture' the moisture from there.

Geez, overlooked that small spot... >:(
Thanx Leon!

Edit:
Finished ;)

Question for Leon:
Spoiler
I could never figure out what the 'shadow' down left in the brig was...
Have you been able to find out what it was in case you played and solved this game in another way, if that is possible anyway. Or is it maybe just an unused element?

Finished the game and did not even noticed the thing you are speaking about ;). Tried it now, it does not react on anything, it seems. Maybe it's just for fun? BTW, I found another one
Spoiler
There's a crack on engine's control panel.

I can guess that if you bypass ship mime, and open the door
Spoiler
there will be an army of mimes standing and looking at you... in silence...

Nope, there are lots of unused elements in the game (the shadow, the mime, the doors, the crack....) I think Tijne was on to something bigger but had to cut due to lack of time. What I did notice though is ...
Spoiler
... that the hotspot name of the Fueling Door disappears as soon as you cool the processor which is quite annoying since the next thing you need to use is .... the Fueling door.... ;-)

Tijne

Oh yes.  There was a slaughter in the game's plot; and there's an army of little bugs like mentioned....
