Has anyone been able to wake the driver yet?  I tried the gas filled chainsaw, the horn, and put the dog in front of the bus but cant make him do anything

I tried giving him the trash can but it says something like "it takes more than a can to make a drum"  I have tried using other items with the can, but cannot seem to find the right combination.  I have been stuck since yesterday.  What am I missing?

You need a road sign - you can get the sign in the start screen on the street using the saw and drop the road sign middle of the street in Holland. But u need full for the saw. use the straw on the red car behind the bus

i have blow up the supermarket - did read the book in all screens, found a key,
shoes, wire from the shoe , Don't know what to do when you go in the supermarket with the elevator to floor -666 when you go to 666 screen are upside down. - 999 when you go right you come in a room with paiting stuff ? read the book when you are on -666 and you see symbols, and there are symbols on the walls ??? Got yellow power from the street lamp ??

I'm absolutely confused.  I have been through hell and collected a couple of items made it to mushroom shop but lost as to what I have to do in there as he won't let me buy anything.  I've ended up with a rabbit but still can't get the pig - and no idea on getting the shoe either  :-\

i never see the beach ?. I did get in hell - 666 with the shoes i get up on the water pipe (moon) not the shoes hanging on the line . i have connect all yellow wire to get yellow power but nothing happend when i have yellow power

when you go in hell - I think you;re supposed to use the book to spell out something with the symbols - I couldn't work that one out (I think it maybe a website address)

Each room of hell has 3 ways out - when you go through the correct entrance you don't hear the laughter - I found it best to keep saving each room and work through them until you end up on the beach and collect the items that are in the different rooms. If I remember right the symbols above the first 3 entrances spelt www, but there maybe something written into the game that changes the sequence.  The guy next to the beach has a bowl of chilli's - not sure if you need them but I couldn't get them[\hide]

Theres probably an easier way of doing it but as I said I couldn't work that one out. Hope this helps

Well, I've gotten a truffle and some new shoes.  I have no idea how to get up the street lamp or how to enter the aquarium.  I thought that the pig would love a truffle, but no.  Has anyone finished the game yet?

I can't get into the electric blanket shop till 8p.m. I think I need to do something with the clock in coffee shop thats stopped just before 8..........any ideas on that?

To get yellow power

first set switches 1 and 2 up 3 down - Second set all down third set all up. To get in the aquarium on theÃ,  - 999 floor, just walk to the right (red arrow point shows on that turnstile thingÃ,  and you jump up a room with the sawfish and painting stuffÃ,  ).

I think the wire are used for the other lamppost but its to high ??

iam stuck toÃ,  - I can't get into the electric blanket shop and what to do with the truffle

You can use the truffle on the pig, but it has to be the right sort, and you have to be very quick to catch the pig before he disappears.

Apparently you need to wear the shoes you get from the top of moon's bong, and the one you get after falling off. I didn't realise this when I did it.

Do you have the firefighter station? Use it on the supermarket. Then use wire and pig on the dark street lamp which is to the right of the supermarket. Enter the tipi....

I'm not too sure - I know the sawfish just said hello to me to start with then I wandered round a bit more - I think I may have gone back to the mermaid after seeing the swordfish.  I looked at swordfish and then kept talking to him and eventually he told me about his sword...........have you tried just giving him your saw? why did they make the game 800x600 in the 1st place. 640x400 would have worked just as well. its not like they needed larger resolution for more detailed backgrounds?

Yes, it really seems to be a problem. In fact, the game crashed from time to time during testing with that mystery "too many events posted" error, but not too often. I asked for help on this last summer, but got no answer, that solved the problem (neither here nor anywhere else) - only a lock for crosspostingÃ,  ;D

Then I found out two things about this error:
1) It only seemed to happen when accessing hotspots.
2) It happened more often on fast machines.

Because no-one could help, we added two little helpers:
1) You can adjust the game speed. If the game crashes too often, try to increase the game's speed in the system control panel inside the game (see readme.txt for details)

2) We added an auto-save function. When the games crashes, you can continue at the beginning of the scene, where the error occured (see readme.txt for details).

Just after we had uploaded the first release, we got to know, that they found out, that it's a bug inside the AGS engine...Ã,  ::) I tried to recompile with the fixed beta version of AGS, but it doesn't work without some major changes in the code... We'll bring a recompiled version within some weeks, promised - but this really takes time, as the whole beta testing has to be done once more.

In addition, we asked a guy from Texas to lecture the english version. The next release will have both updates.

By the way...: To workaround the crash, you can try to make some steps aside before you interact with something you think it's a hotspot (cp. this thread: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=25330.0

Pl. believe, that we're not really satisfied with this situation, too... esp. as it brought us votings like "very buggy"... we're working on it and everything will be good & the world will be saved!

i dont mind the crashing. i save often, so no prob. it happens mostly in the supermarket, especially after i interact with a lot of hotspots. i have a very slow pc.  ;)

i dont think "too many events posted" is an ags bug. i actually think its an scripting error.  ;D but i maybe wrong.  8) i have scripted a 500meg game.  8)

now, can somebody help me with the place im stuck at (see my previous post)

I hear all this talk about shoes?  Where does one get a pair of shoes from?  I've tried everything to get them from the clothesline but it won't let me.  Game won't allow me to climb up to the moon either.

forget about the shoes on the shoeline. You get them from the moon. Go to the right of the tipi and then up along the river. You can then climb up. There are more hints in the forum that will help you if you get stuck again

Thank you  Also. I got the newspaper that says that solidland has truffles.  Where is solidland??  I am only seeing the coffee shop, elevator building, and water tower.
I have, hairtye, trashcan, entry hole, invite to amsterdam, empty box, pipe, horn, banana skin, rope, credit card, lighter, key from padlock, wire, book, model and newspaper.  I did the yellow lights but dont know what it affects.....Going around and around to nowhere.
