I'm on Day 2, and I am at the Wicker man's house - next to the well and the circular window.

I use torch to look down the well, and he says that there is 'something down there, it doesn't look too far.'  

But I can't get to whatever is down there.  He won't climb down the well himself, and he won't tie rope to the window to lower himself down.

By the way, I'm loving the music.

have field notes, case files, lighter, hotel room keys, newspaper, flash light, rope, camera,
book, wrench, photo, screwdriver, little not, rusty key

Am I missing an inventory item?

Unfortunately, the game also crashes sometimes when looking at certain items (which item depends on which room). It is also a bit difficult to navigate or get a clue. I had to click randomly a lot just to find exits or find out that an item was hidden somewhere.

try to get to the upper level and proceed until you get stuck. Upper level means that you will find yourself on a screen that you arrived to before, but now one floor above. Behind some planks there is a rusty key. There is no hint about this and you have to find the right pixel. Use the key to unlock the double door.

got the rusty key, placed the cog, got out to open air...into the company of Sticky, the ugly monster that rejects sternly all items in inventory and waits until you are in a certain point to give you game over. Some item missing? Any help welcome.

I'm still on day one. I've been going through the forest for a long time and haven't found anything. And there's a bridge that won't let me go across.

This is terrible!
Placed cog and the messeage reads "the machine is working again"
but when i try to activate it the mesage appears "the cog is mising"

I am at the same place. I'm beginning to wonder if that's SUPPOSED to be the end of the game and it's intended to be a "cliffhanger" ending for the sequel.

Considering other aspects of the game that appear to be unfinished, I don't think that's an unreasonable possibility.
