The New Adventures of Zak McKracken

I am really stuck..  I have read the hints and the walkthroughs and they all tell me to get a board from a hut in Kinshasa but when I get there the only hut that I can enter belongs to a Dr and there is nothing there to take.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I must confess I've adored to play the first one, but in the new adventures, I had to use a walkthru all the time..., as no enough hints were given (at least for me) to play this game without alotta guidance...

Thanks, I tried that one and it worked.  For some reason the walkthrough I was using was wrong before.  Thanks Primus   Now on to figure out The Apprentice.........

So what you're saying is there is no walkthrough for, "The New adventures of Zak McKracken?" Because I am stuck. I have the camera and the gas can from the office but I can't use the car or bus to get out of town. HELP!!!
