I feel stupid, lol, but I try to get the cobweb with the branch, wich I finally found, but it says he doesnt want the spider crawling up his arm. what do I do? I have the smartweed, cattail, tinder, bowl, scouring brush, and cloth. and how do I find out if the tree is alive or not it won't let me water it or anything untill I find out.

I guess you should:

give the stick to Kiri and take her to the cobwebs.
Then ask the stick back and remove the cobweb by using the cloth on it or by using the stick on yourself.

thanks but I tried both of those things and it didn't work. the cloth "is not long enough" and the branch, oko "can not use that on himself. it tells me when I try with the branch "oko could use that to remove the spider web, but what if the spider jumps onto it and crawls up his arm?" or something...

To get the cobweb:

Talk to Kira and ask her if she can get the spider out of the web. Give her the stick and she'll use it to remove the spider. Talk to Kira again and ask her to give  the stick back.
