Can you be a bit more precise with 'loads of items'? There are lots of shops/locations to visit, clues to get and items to find. For instance, did you find out who the two are in the medallion? What more can be learned from that hanger? etc. It's not only finding items, it's also looking at them and investigating them.

Hey everyone,
Found a slight glitch in the game, but it is an easy workaround. After Mark gets captured by the Indian and it switches back to Debbie, don't interact with the copy machine again in the hotel. If you do, it will switch you back to an earlier view and there will be an error later on.
Any who experience this, just restore to an earlier point and then don't interact with the copy machine again.
Somehow, this slipped by and even my beta-testers didn't find it.
P.S. The tongs should already be in your inventory at this point.
it says in walkthrough to talk to jobo on beach but theres no one there only the girl, he is supposed to tell me he needs a drink! Can i still proceed from here thanks

I followed the walkthrough precisley twice, for Map Piece 2 Summanus and when I get back with the picture, the man is not sitting on the rock and thus I cant get the key to his shed in order to get the map piece. Great game so far and I would like to be able to finish it. A bug or me?

ive done everything now, but i cant trigger the dinner thing, i went by the walkthrough and have used the clown token in machine but still doesnt trigger them meeting for dinner ive talked to everyone now cant do anything more can you help please
I've had that problem too. Are you sure you took everything from Bill's shop? I forgot the tent :-[ and then it won't trigger. As soon as you have all the items, it will work from any location (probably the shop). What you need from the shop:

I somehow got Debbie back into the Jungle and at the beach scene, I can't save the girl because there is no stick available to tie the rope to on either beach. She had a stick in her earlier inventory, but lost all to Bear when he took charge. Any thoughts?

Thanks once again, I was able to save the gal although I had tried the "log" as a stick before but not correctly. Now, however, I'm supposed to get some mud before leaving the scene, but, pixel hunt as I might I can't seem to dredge up any.. Can I get it some where else, later?

The fuzzy flowers are on Alethia one screen up from the beach where you first arrived. They are set against the rock and there are five colors. The fairy is also on Alethia and she is as far left as you can go. Extra little hint: There is a second beach on Alethia to the right of the fuzzy flowers.

Thanks once again, this clue allowed me to prgress to getting five symbols and decorate the mask. But now I'm trying to give it back to the medicine man but I cant bring up the Password Screen at the Rock Door to get back into the village. Looking ahead with the aid of the WalkThrough, I see a lot on need to get into the village, so I guess that I'm finished with this fantastic game unless you can get me the Password screen.

Something to point you in the right direction:

You can only give the seashell to the drum lady after you have seen the rock animals. She will come back after you make the dress so don't worry. You can trade for it then. Also, the blanket is the one you get from the lady at the loom. You have to first get her mushrooms, then red fruit before she will let you take the blanket.

in Pia's temple. You need the urn from inside the temple. Inside the maze, use the urn on the fountain water and use that to water the dead-looking plant. It will spiring to life and give you the red fruit. You will use the strawberry later on in the game.

hi, after enjoying playing this i came to the bit where debbie goes into jungle and as i get to the beach where the girl is jumping stones my game just crashes and says its a scripting error, i tried walking to the beach and going via the map but the same thing is there any way round this so i can play the game? thanks

i only used the copy machine once as debbie and it crashed at the girl crossing the stones, do you interact with the copy machine at all as debbie? I have stopped playing it at mo as i dont want to get that far then it crashes again thanks
After Mark gets caught by the the indian, it is not neccessary to interact with the copy machine at all. The only reason that was there was to make a copy of the map and you already have one in your cabin.
Just restore to an earlier point and when you go talk to Monea ( after being tied up) don't interact with the copy machine and you won't have any more crashes.

The rat trap uses the following items: small rock, the log, the dirt from the tunnel, then the moldy cheese. The other rock gets used with the vine and placed in the tree behind you.
Place the log in the same place that you put the small rock. It will trigger from either on the ground or by clicking on the small rock.

The flamingos are near the swamp area in the first part of the jungle area. To get there, the easiest way would be to find the blue poppies at the edge of the river, then walk towards you two screens. You should be at the swamp with the frogs, then walk to the left one screen and you will find them.

In the jungle, walk up as far as you can until you reach the dark swamp. In that room, there will be a place to the left that you can walk ( it is by a rock wall) and you will find Marley. Another little hint... before you go there, make sure to stop off at the Indian village and pick up a fire log. It is upstairs, two screens over from the medicine man.

Before the dialog will come up about Was a Tree, you have to talk to the medicine man about needing a mortar and pestle.
There is an Egypt picture behind the chief and the priestess, look at it then talk to them about it. After that, talk to the Medicine man about what you need to do ceremony. He will tell you that you need to get mortar back from Was a Tree, then you can talk to the man on the rock.
To get across the log into the dark forest, first you need to talk to the big rock head(he will come out in the last screen to the right in the dark swamp) then give the croc the gum from your inventory. That will get you across.
To do the Marley puzzle....
First the mama beaver asks you to help find Marley, then you will find her sitting on a rock in the jungle after the bridge. When Marley runs off because you are a stranger, go back to mama beaver to get flute to show Marley. Marley will then be in the den with the snakes. The dark swamp is not the swamp where the flamingos are, but across the bridge where the crocodiles are.

as per walkthrough after I pick up the sunglasses outside the stable I'm supposed to automatically go to the luau. I have followed the walkthrough whenever was stuck until this point so I know I've done everything according to script. But after I pikced up the sunglasses nothing happens

After you do the skateboard for the little boy, the store guy says he will throw in batteries for being a good sport. You can now get them at any time... Just go back into the store and they will be in the first set of shelves...you will have to go to a close up to see them.
Urgh... I got the batteiries and all the other items and it still doesn't go to luau ...
It still sounds like you are missing something... tell me what you've got in your inventory so I can narrow it down for you.

I was thinking that maybe you didn't make a copy of the original. Use the map on the copy machine in Monea's place, then take the copy.

That's too bad really the game was really enjoyable so far but maybe there's too much gathering of items to be used much later in the game and the script being dependent on all of them maybe is not such a great decision. Why can't I just get the items after the luau?
Although I have all the items anyway.
The reason you can't get the items after the luau is that you don't go back to these areas later. I made it this way so that when you get to a new area, you won't have to backtrack or get stuck because you don't have what you need. Some of them items have to be found in certain places because it would not be logical to find them elsewhere.
I am sorry that you are frustrated but....
If you could let me know what is in your inventory, I can tell you what you are missing....

You are correct in the room that the medallion is in. There are two plants at the bottom of the screen on the right side. Click on the first one and it will disappear and the medallion will be revealed.
I am thoroughly enjoying this game. However I seem to have got a bit stuck in the Indian Village. I have done the bow and arrow but I somehow missed the cutscene in the village with the woman. Now the bow and arrow guy is gone and I don't know how to trigger it. I also can not take the elephant rattle from the shelf as it says it is too rough for the baby. Any suggestions?? I hope I don't have to go back to a saved game as I've done heaps in the meantime.

For the baby, you first have to give him the compass from your inventory to sooth him. As long as you have already been in the room with the rock animals, you will then be able to take the rattle.
I'm not sure what cutscene you are referring to, but if the drum lady is gone, she will return after you do the puzzle for Was A Tree (getting mortar and pestle).
The bow and arrow guy gives you a prize that will help you later, but he does not trigger any cutscene. Once you won the prize, he won't come back.

For making the sandwich , you don't have to cook anything. Right next to the bread, there's some ham for you to cut with the knife. Combine bread and ham and you have the sandwich.

Stuck in the Egyptian temple with the mummies and can't get out. I have one puzzle that I have solved (although that didn't seem to do anything for me), two that I can solve, given the opportunity (including how to get out [probably]!). Besides the puzzles, I have

a crook, a pearl, white jewels, rope+stick, other stuff I've had awhile. I translated and rearranged the puzzle with six hieroglyphics and started translating the scroll of many hieroglyphics, but it after typing about seven letters including spaces it doesn't take any more typing. Could this be a bug?

Yes, I & E are also interchangeable. I can enter lifttot or leftto or LIFTT OR LEFT and then no more. So it looks like a problem with the size of the box I'm typing text into, which is why I thought it might be a bug. I've already translatedx the whole thing, but I guess I have to do it this way before I can move the sconces.

You are correct that the first word is left, but I noticed that you are trying to type the next word right after it. You have to hit enter on your keyboard after each word for it to be accepted. When the word is accepted, the cursor will move to the next set of letters. Each group is it's own word.

The mapbook is not on the shelf you are describing. It is on the opposite side. A single red book kind of off to itself second shelf from the bottom.

You need to give the melted gummi's to the bird then Debbie will automatically walk over and put them on the ground.

You are giving it to the wrong bird. The bird you need to give it to is the green bird on the island of Alethia. He will be sitting on a bush where the coconut tree is. If he is still flying around, talk to old woman on Juturna first then go back and he will be on the bush.

Hello there,
In the copy of the game you have, you have encountered a scripting error on my part. What happened is that you interacted with the flowers on Concordia, but walked away without picking up the feather that fell from the sky. When that happened, the game acted like you took the feather when in fact you didn't. That is why the brown feather is not under the nest.
You do not have to restart the game, just restore to an earlier saved game before you interacted with the flowers on Concordia. Then, either wait and get the feather later or interact with flowers, then take feather after it falls.
