I'm stuck after giving the bird the pillow. How do I get the map from it? I skipped the cutscene and may have missed a clue. Thanks in advance.

try talking to brid and he may give you something to help

Talking to the bird doesn't help - we just exchange goodbyes.

I noticed that when I leave the screen and come back the pillow is gone. Not sure if this is important.

during the cut scene you would have seen the map float away. Check out the different areas you've alredy been, you'll see it at one of them.
