Title: Uncertainty machine - day 1 - help
Post by: Kediri on Sat 13/09/2003 12:44:09
I've read all the relevant posts (and checked out walkthru) but I'm having a major problem.
It's at the end of the day "I'm prepared to call it a day"...
(I have concerns about who is responsible for a missing person + I have 2 things which are a main clue!)
I can't leave! I've checked back at the police but I'm not going anywhere - any help gladly received.
Kediri ???

basically the problem is that:
Spoiler
I've/Susan been to top floor, got the cigarette, which matches the other one. Painted nail varnish on the key pad. As Susan tries to leave the newspaper = Susan is about to call it a day but she needs to know more about who is behind the kidnapping. The cigarettes she found are the main clue ???

So from that i went back to the police - but no luck - i've exhausted that line of enquiry. Is it possible I've missed doing something that I should've done
Spoiler
still have the photo and the vice-counsel is not at home?!

Still confused Kediri ???

Just to let you know....you have to do certain things before she can call it a day and actually go home. You may want to check out the walkthrough from AGS (the link is on the first "subject" of all these threads). Just read the first day and leave it alone until you get REALLY stuck again. This game can be tedious and confusing.

  :-[ Feeling slightly foolish.
Thanks for your help - had to go back several saves to see the error of my ways!
But a new day dawns  ;D "hooray"
