Im playing this game ive got the egg but now cant figure out what to do i dont find anything that looks like a giant shoe horn to move the cat can anyone help give me a push along thanks

To get up higher, you need to dig deeper.

You want the ladder behind Trixie. To move her, you need something like a shoe horn because she barely fits in the shed. Using the shovel as a shoe horn on the ladder, it'll come off the wall.

I am stuck again, can anyone give me a bigger hint on how to fix the doorbell or get the paper from the cat im at a standstill again thanks

The doorbell needs to make a sound..... In the carriage in the living room you can find something that makes a sound as well.... With a slight adjustment to one of the parts you can repair the doorbell.
While we're in the living room... under the carriage you can find another item. You'll need it. It looks like a tine... You can use it to fix an incomplete package and with that..... oh well....

I dont know if i have a bug in the game or its that i have to do something before looking in the pram but i cant interact with it or see anything underneath could you help please i like this game but im stuck thanks

You should be able to. Right-click on the carriage should make you able to look at it and discover. Or else make sure you left-click on Look, then left-click on the carriage. I must say that I had a hard time selecting the right commands in some places as well. Especially outside the shed. It might have something to do with the interface/animation. Anyway, it should be possible.

The object underneath has pretty much the same colour as the background. Maybe adjusting contrast of the display helps?

About the other item:

Next to the carriage (very close to the right side of it) lies a pencil.
If you can't see it, move your mouse over to the area and look at the status bar. When your mouse cursor is over it, it will show the word pencil on the statusbar.

I haven't encountered any bug, it should work (but then again, that's what they all say)  ;D

Thanks Leon. Problem is I can't get passed doorway in shed. I thought I might need a torch or something from up stairs. So now how do I get in passed doorway in shed. Hope its not something obvious or I will feel like peanut brain.

Hi thanks for the help you were right i already had the pencil but didnt think of using it like that.  I tried to fix the bell but it says it needs something to help it stay in place could i have a hint on that one please

you need to make a hole in the mallet to help it stay in place. You should have something in your inventory to do so.

It is a small hotspot, but make sure the statusbar says 'Look at light' and right-click on it.
Also you can click on 'use' first and then on the lightswitch. It should say 'use lightswitch' on the statusbar.

(I assume you're talking about the light in the shed)

sorry I must be thick - I am in shed, I have found hotspot for light bulb, guess there must be a switch somewhere but have been a good 30 minutes trying to find it - am I supposed to be looking for an actual switch or should I be doing something with bulb?

Huh? Oh, you just dragged your cursor across the screen to find it?
I may be a sadistic designer, but not that sadistic to hide a hotspot inside a large black area!

Here's the solution:

If you look at the blue sky in the doorway, you should notice that at the right side of that blue area there's a few pixels of white / grey. That's the lightswitch.

No, that's the kitchen. The living room is the one with the primordial soup (HINT!) and the pram/carriage in it ;)

I have got to maze, is there an easy way to do this as he keeps getting stuck between doors and doesn't want to walk properly - really frustrating

Solution to the maze:

Due to the deadline being very close the maze has been programmed very badly. The trick is to click in the middle of each cubicle and don't walk too far at once.

The path is as follows: enter at the middle, walk twice to the left, walk up, walk all the way to the right, one left, up and left.

If it's any consolation, if I were to put a maze in a game again, I'll add an option to skip it.

Thanks for your hints, have completed in - great little game.  Did come across a little bug - if you use phone a second time after speaking to God, the phone gets stuck to your ear and you develop a funny way of walking ;D

I'm sorry man, but there are some serious, serious bugs in this game. It's not to the point that it is playable for me.

I don't think I can complete the game at this stage since it seems like I've gotten half of the items in the game twice, the door shuts even after I wedge it, walking in the desert is a chore because he never leaves the screen from the correct place, picking up the phone twice causes a massive glitch, and a half dozen other problems. Better luck next time.
