Simon the Sorcerer 3D

Hi.

I've recently been playing Simon the Sorcerer 3D and have got up to the third chapter. However, the screen has suddenly gone black. The inventory will load fine and the amount of groats you have, item in hand and what Simon can see is still visible but it's practically impossible to play due to the fact that i cannot see anything.

I've tried installing the game on another computer, using the patch and using a different version of the game but with no luck.

I was wondering if anybody has encountered this problem before and knows how to fix it, or, if anybody has a save game for near where I am?

I have got the conker ready to play with and am in the hut with the children playing conkers. I was just about to play conkers with the boy for the magic quill.

Does anyobdy have access to a save game that is around that point?
