Hello, I was hoping someone would be able to help me with this game. I'm currently in the kitchen with the following inventory items:
spoon
keys
cushion
branch
bowl with water
flee
I have 24 points. I can put the bowl w/ water in the microwave but then can't do anything with it.

Hey Fisher, thanks for the hint. Amazingly, I had never explored the ventilation duct until now. ;)
I've made a lot of progress, almost finishing I believe. I'm just missing one puzzle, just can't figure it out.

At the end, you must appease all three factions on earth. I've done the Western and Asian faction, but just can't figure out the IGF faction. They are expecting a holy sign from above. I've tried every little thing I can think of but to no avail. I'm sure it involves the coffee/ink, and if I teleport there I can place the coffee on the table. But then I can't do anything else. Maybe we need to do something with the lights hanging over the three guys? I'm stuck with 98 points right now.
Anyways, here is a hint to get you to where I'm at. Or, for all I know you are already where I'm at. :P

Have you talked to the dog yet? If you have, have you talked with Timmy yet? He needs a certain item and will give you something very important in return.
I think we're the only 2 playing this game! Too bad, people are missin' out on a pretty fun game...

Oh I just can't seem to finish the darn thing!!!
It appears that once you've teleported, you can't "get back" and if you don't have an item, you need to return to a saved game......

Yes, I believe you're right that once we teleport there's no coming back. So I'm holding off on that for now. Where did you get the photo from? I don't have that item. I think appeasing the IGF involves dropping something on the earth, much like appeasing the Asian faction went. I think this way cause the hint book in the kitchen says they are expecting a sign from above.

Once you get your sliced egg, go to the room to the left of teleport room. Use your sliced egg in machine (the soda looking one)...there will be energy. The photo appears on the side of the machine

Take that photo and attach it to the tripod in the teleporter room, just under the laser pointer. Then use the remote on the TV's and click IGF to hear that you satisfied their request and you can be ruler. They fax you a contract so take that. You need to sign it in their presence. You have the contract and ink, but no pen! Go back to the well and as Timmy for the pillow back. He says no but agrees to throw up a feather. Pick it up, teleport to the leaders, place the ink and contract on the table. Use feathe on ink and then use feather on contract. Enter beam. Rejoice!!!!!
The only problem is I think there's a way to get the feather out of the pillow before throwing the pillow down the well. At least the hint book in the kitchen says to use feet on your pillow before giving it away. Getting the feather after the fact takes away a lot of points. Oh well, so I didn't get to see the super deluxe ending of Walter's Asteroid in 3D-Vision. :P I did go back to an earlier save where I still had the pillow, but I still could find no way to extract a feather out of it. ???

cittymom, one helpful part about the game is if you use any items on the skeleton in the dungeon, he will give you a hint as to how the inventory item might be used. :D
Thanks, Lakerz. I have finished the game with your hint. I had to start many times before I learned how easy it was to lose inventory items! (this was before I made it into the kitchen and read the hint book!) I, also learned there are some objects you should not show to Walter.

I have feather and put picture on tripod, have used remote on TV and they have said OK, but I get no fax........ When should I get that? Have tried using teleporter without contract but then get stuck there and can't get back. Any ideas please[\hide]

I believe you need to put another object on the tripod with the picture (which you find in the cabinet in the teleport room) Also, try some of your inventory objects on the earth, then go back to the tvs and use the remote.

2. take a look at the map behind the shark pool
3. read the book in the kitchen
buy the way
- open the window in the kitchen
- water the plant in the labortory
- give the dog the branch or a bowlÃ, water
after all

cheating

and DotT and have never thougtof point before I played King-Quest here

gah, can anyone tell me how to get to the kitchen. i dont know how to get across the shark pit, i don't know how to get up into the ventilation duct. ive tried everything. also, when i click on the princess's picture, i can see "mechanical things" but i cant do anything to them. help!!!

You can dig the 'X' with the spoon (show it to the skeleton to get this hint), then climb the rubble to get into ventilation duct. You then need the tree branch to get into the kitchen.
how do i cook the golden egg? does it have something to do with the bowl with water?

put the bowl of water in the microwave and microwave it then put the bowl on the top of the stove. Then the egg in the bowl. No it doesn't make sense. Maybe gurki's never cooked an egg before? :D

Yes, it's possible to bypass the shark pit by the ventilation ducts...but it's also possible to get the sharks to let you pass!:

Also, for getting the feather the optimal way...

The hint book says to "treat it with your feet"...what it means is to use the walk icon on the feather. (This gives you a whopping 100 points!)

to get past the shark. You put the crank from the wishing well into the space behind the girl's picture. Then a concrete slab falls across the shark pit
