This game is trickier than I thought it would be...

I have the ball and the dog whistle. The whistle has no effect on the dog. I've tried using the drainpipe, the mud, the board on the shed and the holes in the tree, and tried getting in round the back way, all to no avail...
Any hints on what I am missing?

A bit stuck now. I've managed

to get in to the shed and got a broken ladder, a hammer and a crowbar. Took the loose board from the doghouse and attached it to the ladder but I can't find a way to secure it, there are screws and bolts in the toolbox but I can't seem to take it.
I suppose I have to fix the ladder and then use it with the balcony, but how do I fix the ladder?

Throw the ball to Killer. Go to the back door (where you got the ball) and use the whistle on yourself.
If further help needed, then:

Pick up the dog leather and use it on the tree branch. Then climb up, move the board and get inside the shed. Find the light switch, get hammer, nails, crowbar and ladder. Climb on the table and get out. Then use the crowbar to get the loose board (kind of ;)). Use the board, the nails and the hammer on the ladder to fix it. Finally, climb on the balcony.
