I just started playing this games coz i didn't have anything better to do and I'm stuck!!!
Everywhere I go the water is undrinkable!

I have the picture from the wall, I've got the cup from the table and the fishwrapper from the waterfall. I can't talk to my neighbor.. I can get nothing there but there must be some kind of can opener in the basket because I got a mesage like that but didn't see anything in my inventory afterwards and couldn't find any basket anywhere either (there must've been a bug)
Anyone please help!

BTW.. it's a little tricky to get to the neighbor.. take tiny thin path in front of the lake.. yes you can walk there.. you won't get wet there
im stuck at the same place!

Don't remember the exact sequence of things, but this is what you still can do:
1. Talk to the locomotive in your house
2. Use the poster on the waterfall
3. Go to the water tap, look at it, exit the screen, return and interract with the cat
I'm not sure what exactly trips talking to the neighbor, but one you should be able to talk to him afterwards.

I think if you listen to the stereo thats what triggers the man talking to you. I didn't get any message about a can opener when I clicked on the basket although the little timer thingie did come on. I tried interacting with cat - nothing happens. So I have been stuck for a long time in this game and I kinda gave up.

thanks for the hints! finished it now.
joyce, i also at first couldnt interact with the cat. but the hotspot is just a little left of the cat's head for some strange reason.

I finally found the hotspot to interact with cat just to find out he wants food.. I also finally got the message that I had grabbed can opener from basket but have no can opener in my inventory, xtine maybe we need to open the can before we can feed the cat but with no can opener I am stuck again so I think I am giving up again

Hi joyce! I got some news! i contacted the maker of Water Quest and he gave me the following hints.

he said to use train on the super bored neighbor, then you'll get the can. get the can opener from the basket outside the house and then open the can and feed the cat.. that's all. BTW Did you get the can yet? and how?
The problem is I can't do anything with the neighbor.. I'm still waiting for the next email from the creator. Could you try if it works with you... maybe only my game has a problem hehe.

ok i couldn't use the train on the man but when i used it slightly over the head of the man it worked and I got the can. After I got the can I looked at the basket outside and voila! I'm on my way to the cat now.
