I think AGSEDIT relates to AGS Editor main folder..

At least you have done it now ;)

The Manual is always being constantly updated...

Put all .dll files in the main AGS folder....exit ags editor and restart.. Click plugin's and it should be there if it is compatible...

I am in production of a conspiracy / myth game (Maelstrom Obscura)..

One of the subjects is the Twin Towers.

Do you think that it could be to soon or offensive and a sensitive issue?

Yes, if you don't set the background frame it will cycle through them (animating).

By setting the background frame it will cease animating.

Well done Cat... Great game  (nod)

You can indeed change the Background image by triggering a region..
Just make sure the room loads the correct Background frame in Room Load.

Read manual about Region Events.

First Background is always 0, then 1, 2 etc

Parallax Scrolling module.

Back in the cage Khris  (laugh)

He gets angry when Newbies won't listen or pay any attention to advice and make lame excuses and get very defensive because ags is not doing what it's suppose to do.

Most of us know Khris and his bark is worse then his bite but he's an ok guy, underneath  (laugh)

Read the ags help manual, its your bible  (nod)

in the character events panel check movementspeed and animationdelay.. Adjust to suit...

You want to listen to these guys for they have years of knowledge and trust me I've been where you are.

Sit back, relax an stay cool. All will come right in the end if you do as they ask.

1, Make sure you have created the said object in the room correctly named and that its view loop has at least 3 images.
2, Add your object code to animate in Before Fadein function
3, Get rid of all the other code. Maybe use a new room to do this so it has no other code.
4, Check your walkable area is correctly placed.
5, We generally use regions and not hotspots for walks on..
4, compile and run game.

For an object to animate you must set it's View first...

Code: Adventure Game Studio
  1. oMan.SetView(12);

Oh, Khris and Co.. You're non believers then?   (laugh)

That's why I never take long haul flights, in case the plane fell off the earth  (laugh)

I think it may be cryptically too hard, well, for me, but with one brain cell still working what do you expect?  (laugh)

I like the promise though...

 Please delete, mistake..

Never had this come up before..

GlobalScript.asc(2255): Error (line 2255): too many nested if/else statements

I believe there a limit?

Shifted further database search entries to Rep Exe with a boolean too true when search button clicked... Seems to work so far...

Plagiarized material........ US Films have been doing that for years....Maybe the 'powers that be' have not noticed or been given a back-hander?

It is a tricky area....  sometimes it's best to curve the softball to avoid the crap...

I hope it will not stop your production that you have been working on for so long...
