We may need another screen shot. I've got nuttin', baby.  (wrong)

Ilyich

Oh no! I've gone too obscure and no one even wants to come up with silly joke titles now! :embarrassed: (Except for Trampoline, thank you) I'm sorry. :(

Well, at least this might help indie movie lovers to narrow it down to about a hundred titles  :)

Good enough for me! No point in stalling the thread by making you people google it using the information at hand (which is quite easy now, actually). Your turn, Snarky, whether you like it or not!  :cheesy:

The movie was Hal Hartley's "Henry Fool".

Eric

Oh shoot! I haven't seen that movie in a decade. That is James Urbaniak, isn't it?

That's not a man, baby! Clearly your standards are just too high, Eric.

Also, Blade Runner?  ;)

Yep, that's him! The one that's not Parker Posey, that is.

 Quick! Somebody guess this movie so I can Netflix it!!!!1! 8-0

Ilyich

Aww, man, I think I know/love this one, but no way I'm making Ponch happy taking this turn! Also, isn't it pretty obscure and not actually that easy, apart from being a quite obvious shot for those who've seen it? :)

Snarky

Mmmm... it was a pretty high-profile release in Norway, but I guess it wouldn't surprise me too much if it passed most of the world by. I bet in the UK The Daily Mail would have called it child porn.

Eric

I don't think it's that obscure for those who appreciate animation, of which I'd guess there are many on this board. Not available on Netflix, Ponch, but there's an English version available in chunks on YouTube.

Ilyich

Well, clearly, it was easy enough. :) I was basing my assumption on the fact that it was rated by less people on IMDb than "Henry Fool", and they have been released almost in the same year, but I guess it's different for animated films. :) And speaking of iMDB, it tells me there was a new Kirikou film released in late 2012. Did anyone get a chance to see it yet or is it french festivals only so far?

Eric

There have been at least two sequels. I haven't seen the newest one, but I liked Kirikou and the Wild Beast. It was hard as hell to track down a copy, though.

Hard as hell / you can buy a copy on Amazon.

I'll accept that as an answer. You're up, Eric!
