I also like the thought of a bear so large that it sandwiches its paws simultaneously into opposite sides of the phone booth. (laugh) (laugh)

Ah, he caught a swordfish and thought it was dead. He called someone to brag and the swordfish recovered from being stunned and stabbed him through one phone booth wall and out the other?

Here's the solution:

Spoiler: ShowHide
Not the smartest of people, the fisherman gestures while on the phone, "I caught a fish THIS big!"

LMAO! So, more of a joke than a riddle, but is pretty funny!

Can we revive this thread? Mandle, it's technically your turn. (I can try and drum up a riddle if you'd rather pass.)

Here is an original Lord of the Rings riddle/joke that I came up with:

"What is the legal drinking age in Middle Earth?"

Here's a hint.
Spoiler: ShowHide
Think of Bilbo's birthday.

If you still haven't got it the answer is:
Spoiler: ShowHide
Eleventeen.

Didn't quite get yours but here's one of my own:

Q: Why was Gandalf good at golf?

Spoiler: ShowHide
A: Because he could always get a couple of eagles.

Bilbo had his eleventieth birthday (11*10) so by using that logic you get 11+10 = eleventeen which conveniently happens to be the same as 21.

Ah, I had always thought it was his eleventy-first birthday and that's probably why I didn't get the reference.
