Without question this is the rhymingest and open-worldest OSD you will ever play!

EDIT: So I just realized...This is the ripoffingest of Ponch's style evar!

Thanks Bud :-D Your too kind!
I've had one report of the download link not working, anyone else having these issues? My internet is kinda sucking and I am having trouble testing it. Working on a mirror though.

Edit: Dropbox mirror added, although the mediafire one did work for me (after a couple tries, but I blame my connection)

Of all the OSD games that I'm only tangentially involved with, this is the tangentialliest! :cheesy:

Download it! Play it! The spirit of Dennis compels you!

Nice little RPG, once you get a grip on the controls.

Spoiler: ShowHide
I don't know how to use OSD cannon. It shoots coconuts anywhere!

Thanks, glad you are enjoying :)
Probably the most obscure part of the game:
Spoiler: ShowHide
Dennis needs to climb into the cannon

Spoiler: ShowHide
if you have the gold chain combine it with a coconut

That should help :-D

It has mosters, rhymes, Dennis and a unicorn!

Is there actually a system behind the battles? Or is it all random?

Btw, I have no idea what to do in the princess battle...

Indeed!
Yah, there's actually a real system behind the fights. It factors in char strength, weapon strength, skill and the enemies skill... and each enemy has a weakness *secret*
The princess:
Spoiler: ShowHide
there's an object hanging above her head...

Spoiler: ShowHide
and you have a new projectile...

Mandle

I just finished the game and...well...what can I say...

It was confusing...hilarious...baffling...atte ntion-holding...mind-scrambling...and in the end: FUN!!!

I was not quite sure what exactly was going on half the time but I'm thinking that is supposed to be half the fun...

I feel there might be multiple paths that could be taken:

For example (SPOILER):
Spoiler: ShowHide
I really didn't want to kill the impaled princess at the end but I could not find any other way...I even tried feeding her a coconut to heal her...

Very well done entry considering that you developed an actual RPG fighting system during the one month time limit:

I think I found most enemies weaknesses...

GREAT MAGS ENTRY!!!

So after a month of tinkering with this project, thanks for the assistance from the Party Wagon guys, I think we've got much more enjoyable game here!

-The cannon fire is no longer frustratingly blocking!
    -Enemies have POWER BARS!!
    -LESS BUGGY!!!111!
    -Can heal DURING battles!
    -EXTRA Enemies!!
-Many things have been SLIGHTLY adjusted!!1!
-STILL an OSD game!1! (you know what that means...)
-NEW lovable sidekick and ABILITY to fly!!! *
-Source code: http://www.mediafire.com/download/to7airvfo42rvro/OSDPrincessSource.zip (Now you too can have Dennis in your own home!)
    -MAKES no sense!!

Have fun! Don't experience back-strain carrying around your own massive sword, let Dennis do it!

*Promises of a 'lovable sidekick' and 'flying' are indications of coming DLC which will be free once I sell the $1000 collectible original OSD: TotIP on floppy...

Healing is a huge feature addition.  There are lots of laughs and clever rhymes in Mite's take on Dennis.  The canon bit was my favorite.

Thanks for the kind words guys, and the help too :)
It was a lot of fun making this odd-ball game, was also a learning experience as this was an opportunity to try some new scripting.
I hope all the OSD nuts out there enjoy this not-so-logical adventure! Any and all feedback is welcome as well, I hope to apply what I can to the next game.
