Here's a short video showing off the Diagon Alley room we build for the students at our school's 2016 Harry Potter themed Halloween party:



That's me narrating and doing the crappy camera-work. Apologies also for video quality and low-light issues: I didn't have a very good camera on hand...

Wow, pretty cool! Too bad it's so dark that we can't see most of the awesome stuff.

Yeah that's the problem. We build the room to look cool under the lighting conditions that we are going to use. That way it's harder to notice that almost everything is built out of cardboard, paint, duct tape, and staples. So it's probably better this way. I wish I had lit it a little better for the video but I had to rush to film it as we were tearing everything down soon after.

I will put up some photos of the actual party when they are ready, so things should look better in those.
