That is... correct. Thanks, Kumpel!  ;-D
How did you get there? I thought the screen where a shirtless Terry Notaro menaces Dominic West would be the one to give it away, since it was featured in most of the publicity and is... memorable.

It is indeed The Square by Ruben Östlund (his previous film was Force Majeure aka Turist, a cringe comedy about a dad who abandons his family to flee an avalanche, and how they get along after it turns out to be harmless). The Square is harder to sum up, but it deals with art, empathy, privilege, violence and hypocrisy through a series of darkly hilarious episodes in the life of a harried museum director.

An outstanding film where every scene is simultaneously a joy and painful to watch. I highly recommend it.

I am a movie critic and leading film journalist for a local german print magazine. Haven't seen it yet though. The restaurant scene gave it away. I remember stills similar to your screenshot of the leading actor.

At the moment I am busy. Please anyone feel free to take over here too 😎

I got there by searching for "Mirrors and piles of gravel,", which lead directly to a review.
I do remember seeing something about this film when it came out but only after reading the review, and I certainly wouldn't have recalled such a generic name on my own.
I think I agree with Mandle :=

You got it, Quintaros! Did you recognize Tim Robbins, right? 8-)
Robert Altman's Short Cuts, the first movie that won the prestigious Coppa Volpi at the Venezia Film Festival for the entire cast!

Your turn, Quintaros!
